The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough HIEC - Education
In its first few months of operation, the HIEC has concentrated mainly on educational initiatives and has so far initiated projects in the following areas:
Education projects
- Improving the management of breathlessness in multi-professional teams caring for patients with advanced disease by a collaborative educational intervention
- An educational initiative to improve community and hospital end-of-life care in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough
- Education and Accreditation Programme for Primary Healthcare Professionals for delivery of an Integrated Care Pathway in COPD
- To creating innovative educational models and tools to support effective Self Management (SM) and Supported Self Management (SSM) for patients, carers and staff in an integrated COPD care pathway
- Credentialing professional practice through quality improvement strategies in community based diabetes care
- Urology 2010: Urology Network
- Long-term conditions learning and development programme - Working at the Interface of Physical and Mental Health
- Practice-based whole team training for dementia care in hospitals and the community
