The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough HIEC - Funding and governance
Funding process
The HIEC is funded by the Department of Health, NHS East of England, the members of Cambridge University Health Partners, Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust, NHS Cambridgeshire and Cambridgeshire County Council. A steering group, which includes representation from all the HIEC members, sets strategic direction and approves investment plans. The HIEC is closely linked to the Sustainable Healthcare Partnership, a quality improvement programme of NHS Cambridgeshire.
Projects are considered for funding by a peer review panel and are funded subject to a contract with Cambridge University Health Partners as the cluster manager.
